Terms & Conditions

Use of the Lyceum shall be confined to the limits and times specified in the "Use Agreement".  Event time is limited to four-hour, six-hour or all day rentals.  Specified times in the "Use Agreement" include set-up time.  Early move-in or late move-out may incur additional hourly charges as specified in the "Use Agreement".  State Sales Tax is applicable to all rentals and equipment (currently 7%).  Rental charges include normal lighting, climate control, water, table and chair set-up and standard housekeeping.  Additional charges may be assessed for unusual housekeeping or cleanup.  Rental does not include additional staff such as, but not limited to, stage hands, patron services, representatives, private security, police or Fire Marshall.  MLL specifically reserves the right to determine the number and type of staff required for all events.  User shall provide MLL, at least fourteen (14) days before the event commencement date, a full and detail listing of requirements.  MLL is not responsible for furnishing equipment necessary to decorate the facility.  Smoking is not permitted inside the Lyceum.

Decorating Requirements
Crepe paper, glitter on tables and floors, helium balloons in Grand Hall are Prohibited.  Open flame is not permitted.  Candles must be in an enclosed approved cover (Hurricane, Votive, Water, etc).  Decorating shall not involve the use of bolts, screws, nails, staples, scotch tape, electrical tape, or glue.  All decorations must be pre-approved by MLL Management.  any decorative damages may result in charges against users.  All decorations and props must be removed from the building within 30 minutes following the event.  Floral arrangements must be prepared off-site and can be delivered 90 minutes prior to event.  House floral arrangements may be substituted at the expense of the reservation party and must remain in the facility.
Wedding Policies
Throwing Rice, Birdseed, Potpourri, Confetti or Paper Ribbon is prohibited.  Bubbles may be used on the departure at the front entrance.  Bridal and Groom Suites with sitting area will be available 1 hour before and 1/2 hour after your wedding.  Ceremony rehearsal is subject to availability and limited to one hour, for an additional fee of $100.00; the time and day will be set two weeks from your wedding date based on scheduled events.
